About Sutton Funeral Planning
Hello, I’m Nicky Sutton, founder of Sutton Funeral Planning.
If you’ve found yourself here because someone you love has died, or because you’re trying to plan ahead, you may be wondering where to start. For most people, arranging a funeral is something they’ve never had to do before, and it can feel confusing, overwhelming and emotionally exhausting.
You don’t have to navigate it alone.
For over 14 years, I’ve been helping individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. I’ll gently guide you through each step, explain your options clearly, answer your questions honestly, and give you the time and reassurance you need to make the decisions that feel right for you and your family.
I offer support before, during and, if needed, after the funeral. Whether that’s helping you make informed decisions, creating a meaningful ceremony, or providing bereavement support as you adjust to life after loss, my aim is always the same—to help you feel informed, supported and never alone.
My advice is always impartial and centred around what’s best for you – not anyone else.
A little more about me
Alongside funeral planning, I am an experienced funeral celebrant, creating personalised ceremonies that reflect each person’s life, values and personality. No two lives are the same, and I believe no two funerals should be either.
I am also a Certified Grief Coach, offering supportive, practical guidance to people navigating grief. While grief coaching is not counselling or therapy, it provides a safe and understanding space to help people feel less alone, make sense of their emotions and find ways to move forward at their own pace.
Families often tell me that what they value most is having one trusted person to turn to throughout the process—someone who listens, explains things clearly and genuinely cares. That is exactly the service I aim to provide.
If you’re looking for independent, experienced and compassionate support, I’d be honoured to help.
